The Company
WaterTech Pte Ltd (“The Company”) was incorporated in Singapore in 2004. It is an environmental engineering specialist providing integrated systems for water and wastewater treatment. The Company has been granted ISO 9001:2000 for quality management standards and ISO 14001:2004 for environmental management system in the areas of design, procurement & fabrication, supply & installation, testing & commissioning and servicing of water & wastewater treatment system. The Company is developing its business direction towards water and electrical projects associated with greener engineering concepts.
Capabilities
With its experience in practical applications of water technologies, such as the use of membrane technology coupled with its own formulated chemicals to treat potable water and wastewater at the most cost-effective manner (to meet its clients’ customized needs), the Company has become a popular and trusted business partner of many corporations.
One of the main focuses of the Company is in Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (“BOOT”) and Build-Operate-Transfer (“BOT”) project management for water and wastewater treatment plants in China. Among its other infrastructure projects, it has secured two 30-year BOOT projects to treat Industrial/domestic sewage with design flow of up to 28,000m3 per day and 15,000 m3 per day in Inner Mongolia, China in alignment with the eleventh 5 year plan by the Chinese Central Government for environmental improvement and renewable energy development.
Global Market Penetration
Currently, its business in providing engineering procurement construction projects has gone beyond Singapore to cover also Malaysia, Indonesia, Vietnam, Qatar, and China such as Inner Mongolia, Guangzhou, Dongguan, Suzhou, Beijing and Macau.
The Company is also one of the first water treatment companies in Southeast Asia to penetrate into Inner Mongolia market. It is one of the several new markets WaterTech has penetrated successfully.
Experienced Management Team
Top management team consists of professionals in their field. The management team brings together an unparalleled combination of expertise in chemical process, electronics, mechanical and environmental engineering with extensive experience in handling different waste treatment needs. There is an experienced corporate finance team to work together with the Engineers / technologists.
The corporate finance team consists of bankers, qualified accountants and finance managers with experience in managing companies, in the renewable energy industry.
The Company is now governed by a Board of Directors consisting of renowned and well-reputable professionals and leading businessmen in Singapore from both the private and Government sector.
Corporate Investors
Beside staff who have personally invested in the success of the Company, the Government of Singapore has also taken a stake through SPRING SEEDS Capital (a subsidiary of SPRING Singapore under Singapore Ministry of Trade and Industry) and Seacare Foundation Pte Ltd (under Seacare Union which is a part of the National Trade Union Congress of Singapore).

The Company has got wide connections in the regional industries related to green and renewable energy, from construction to trading. The strength of the Company is in the network of contacts in penetrating new markets such as certain provinces in China and Indonesia.

Currently we have established our network of contacts in Vietnam, South America and Africa for market penetration. We have already done several minor projects there and intend to capitalize on them further.
