WaterTech Pte Ltd is incorporated in Singapore in 2004 as “AWE Water Technology Pte Ltd”. Recognizing the need for safe water supplies and effective wastewater treatment and disposal, the Company was set up to provide a one – stop environmental engineering service to meet increasing regulations and challenges within the water and wastewater industry.
Tapping on the company staff and teams wide-ranging skills, expertise and many years of experience, the Company is capable of providing total environmental solutions and services ranging from consultancy, design, engineering, technology and construction, operations and maintenance of facilities, Watertech is also capable of managing and investing in such projects via Build-Own-Operate-Transfer (“BOOT”) and Build-Operate-Transfer (“BOT”). With in-depth technologies know-how, the Company is in the position to address environmental issues like potable water, wastewater, solid waste, bio-solids and sludge, and air pollutant at most cost-effective manner and to adapt its solutions to suit local conditions and purposes for its clients.
In 2006, the Company was granted ISO 9001:2000 for quality management standards and ISO 14001:2004 for environmental management system in the areas of design, supply, installation, commissioning, testing and servicing of water treatment system.
The Company was renamed “WaterTech Co Ltd” on 19 January 2005. Since then, the Company has embarked on venturing its business internationally, particularly in China. On 28 February 2007, the Company incorporated a wholly owned subsidiary, Beijing WaterTech Pte Ltd, in Beijing, China as its regional office to manage its projects in China. In July 2008, the Company has incorporated another wholly–owned subsidiary, Tongliao WaterTech Co. Ltd, in Tongliao City of Inner Mongolia to handle all projects in that area.
